Utilizing both descriptive and quantitative research \nmethodologies, the study employed a two-stage random sampling technique. According to \nthe Yamane Formula, data was collected from 267 out of 811 management-level employees \nat the head offices of the three leading private banks (KBZ, AYA, and YOMA) in Yangon. \nThe findings reveal that attitudes, subjective norms, and PBC significantly influence \nemployees\u0027 intentions to adopt green banking practices, with PBC being the most impactful \nfactor. Additionally, the study indicates that management support negatively moderates the \nrelationship between PBC and employee intention. To foster green banking practices, \nprivate banks in Myanmar should work on enhancing employees\u0027 positive attitudes and \nclearly defining the policies and responsibilities related to green banking. Employees with \na lower perception of their ability to control their behavior (perceived behavioral control or \nPBC) exhibit improved intention to adopt green banking practices when they receive robust \nmanagerial support. This underscores the crucial role of managerial support in shaping \nbehavioral intentions.
