This study investigated the reasoning skills of student-teachers from Sagaing University of Education. A total of 220student-teachers in Sagaing University of Education participated in this study. Descriptive research design and survey method were used. As the instrument of this research,Reasoning Skills Test (RST) was used to examine the participants’ reasoning skills. The test was developed by using Item Response Test Theory (IRT). According to the research findings, it was found that student-teachers were higher in deductive reasoning than inductive reasoning.
