Description
We need to understand difference between teaching of mathematics and mathematical
problem solving. Mathematical problems solving is not a method of teaching
mathematics. Mathematical problem solving is to understand the problems and to find
appropriate method to solve that problem. As the problem solving involves higher order
thinking skills, the students will benefit from developing skills, understandings,
dispositions and values that young people are likely to need to effectively negotiate 21st
century institutional environments. And have link between text book and real world.
