Theresearch performed on 210 PHP source codesfrom different domains to compute amaintainability index of each file. Thecorrelations between each parameter forMaintainability Index (MI) with the otherparameters and with the MI itself are calculated.The parameters of MI are Line of Code (LOC),Cyclomatic Complexity (CC), and HalsteadVolume (HV). The relationship betweenmaintainability index and metrics taken for thestudy was identified on the basis of the Pearsoncorrelation analysis.
