Mostexisting RDF stores, which serve as metadatarepositories on the Semantic Web, use relationaldatabase management system (RDBMS) as abackend to manage RDF data. This paperpresents a framework for querying the semanticweb data over relational database. We alsopropose SPARQL-SQL (Simple Protocol andRDF Query Language - Structured QueryLanguage) query translation algorithm thatimplements each SPARQL algebra operator viaSQL query.
