Recently, efficient RDF datamanagement on top of relational databases gainsparticular attentions from both Semantic Webcommunity and database community. Mostexisting RDF stores, which serve as metadatarepositories on the Semantic Web, use relationaldatabase management system (RDBMS) as abackend to manage RDF data. This paperpresents a framework for querying the semanticweb data over relational database. We alsopropose SPARQL-SQL (Simple Protocol andRDF Query Language - Structured QueryLanguage) query translation algorithm thatimplements each SPARQL algebra operator viaSQL query.
