This study explores the workplace security awareness knowledge, attitudes and behavior among employees of the FMCG industry including (6) companies as corporate setting, focusing on various dimensions of security protocols and personal responsibility. Employing a structured survey distributed among 296 respondents, the research aimed to quantify knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards security measures including the use of emergency response systems, personal data protection, and physical security practices within the workplace environment. This survey employed a Likert scale to evaluate employee perceptions on duties, compliance, and security behaviors within the workplace. The wide-ranging standard deviations expose differing levels of consensus, indicating both areas of agreement and deviation among employees. These results suggest that while there is substantial acknowledgment of and compliance with certain security practices, critical areas requiring organizational attention and potentially revised strategies exist, particularly concerning surveillance and data privacy protocols. The study identifies considerable variance in employee consensus, emphasizing the need for tailored security policy improvements and training programs. Overall, the findings recommend cleared surveillance measures and enhancing communication to foster a secure yet sympathetic workplace environment. |
