Description
The study analyzes good agricultural practices on potato production in Kalaw
Township, Shan State. The study intends to assess current situations of good agricultural
practices in potato production and to examine good agricultural practices for potato
farmers in Kalaw Township, Shan State. The study uses a descriptive method based on
primary data and secondary data. The survey data is collected from 100 potato farmers
with a structured questionnaire. The study shows the post-monsoon potato is the main
source of income in the study area. According to the potato farmers, the income
generated from potato cultivation has been increasing in the last three years. Most of
the potato farmers have applied good agriculture practice from non-governmental
organization and township department of agriculture. Most of the potato farmers are
