Empowerment of women is a vital feature \nof attaining the gender equality. This study aims to assess the gender equality in Myanmar and \nMyanmar women’s empowerment. Descriptive method is utilized with primary and \nsecondary data. Primary data is collected from the survey of 150 women living in Zabu \nThiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw. It is found that Myanmar women have access to \neducation, participation in politics and labour force participation without any \ndiscrimination. The respondents also have women’s empowerment according to the \nresult of survey.
