The main objective of the study is to investigate the causes and effects of social media that impact on students according to the basic of a sample survey that was carried out in June 2018. A sample of students falling within the age group 16-24 was selected by using the stratified random\tsampling. In this study, it found that the mutual relationship between social media and students was highly significant. Factor analysis has been applied to explore that the significant factors of social media impact on students. Moreover, confirmatory factor analysis has also been applied to determine that the relationship and interactive structure between the effect and usage of social media in students. It was found that there was a causal relationship between so ial media actual usages and various effects of social media.\tAlso, the students used social media for learning utilization, personal and multiple usages. Students were getting bored of their study, conflict within family and facilitate laziness because of social media. Moreover, social media usages appeared the personal problem , physical problem and mind problem in students.
