This study examines various factors that have an impact on business operations. These factors include the availability of financial resources, the affordability of capital, government policies and support, financial literacy, and access to relevant business information. Multiple regression analysis reveals that accessibility to finance, capital affordability, financial literacy, and access to business information exert substantial influences on the financial performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, it has been observed that the availability of business information significantly impacts the financial performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Myanmar. Hence, it is imperative for governmental bodies and associations representing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to consistently update their websites and portals in order to disseminate valuable information aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of SMEs. In order to enhance the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Myanmar, it is imperative for various government organizations, including the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development, the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), and the Department of Small-Scale Industries, to collaborate with non-governmental organizations such as the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), as well as the banking industry.
