Bagan civilization can be observed in many ways of comparison with Khmer, Pala and SriLanka. In the local community, it can also be related to those of the later phrase of Sriksetra Pyu old City. To describe the Buddhist religion, Bagan monuments were descended from the origins of Indian, SriLanka and ancient Mon and Pyu civilization.
