When humans living in the world feel that they are sick, there are different types of primary health care systems to treat them. Different kinds of ethnic groups dwelling in Myanmar normally use the traditionally believed and accepted ways of medical treatment that have been handed down and practiced from the time of their ancestors, when they suffer from any kind of illness. Qualitative research method and collected data by observation, key informant interview, individual- depth interview and available data from journal, newspaper were used. In doing so, there are primary health care systems dealing with religious beliefs, natural resources locally, traditions handed down from forefathers and drug stores and so on. So, this research studies health care systems of Chin nationals living in Magyan and Hle Khaung villages, Mindat Township, Chin State, Myanmar. Their primary health care systems to alleviate ailments and diseases suffered on account of their life styles and socio-economic conditions are emphasized. Use of medicinal plants in the natural setting is an essential factor for their wellbeing culturally and traditionally. The most common diseases are hypertension, hemorrhoids, allergies and toothache. As a result of the study, it is known that they seldom go to hospital to be treated even when they suffer from any disease.
