The purpose of this study is to analyze the socio-economic conditions of\nthe pensioners and discuss their experiences and difficulties in withdrawling pension.\nThis study uses descriptive method based on both primary and secondary data and it\nconducts with the 150 pensioners in Hlegu Township. Among 150 respondents, retired\ncivil servants are more than military servants. Male pensioners are older than the\nfemale pensioners. Regarding the educational status, retired civil servants are more\neducated than the retired military servants. The majority of pensioners are retirees\nwho are not working anymore. It is not easy to survive with only pension income for\nthe old age pensioners. The majority of the pensioners who have the financial support\nfrom their family members survive without loan. The most suffered disease of the\npensioners is hypertension and diabete. For the pensioners, the main difficulties in\nwithdrawing pension are the long duration and pension payment method.
