The objective of the study is to analyze the important\nfactors affecting work life balance of Non-Governmental Organizations staffs in\nRakhine State. The descriptive analysis was applied by using the quantitative\napproach. Primary data were collected from a total of 150 NGOs staffs by using\nsimple random sampling method. NGOs staff recognize that their workload is the\nmost significant factor than other factors. The management practices of organizations\nto promote work-life balance. In the other words, that means there were insufficient\nmanagement practices on issues influencing to be work burden on employee. The\nresults finding are in a position to provide some directions to reduce workload and to\nconsider policies and practices regarding work-life balance in non-governmental\norganizations. The implementing of work-life balance programs can be benefits to\ncontrol unbalance of work life of staffs. NGOs are also needed to provide wellness\ninitiatives, such as stress management and time management classes, while others are\nsetting up wellness facilities on the premises to let employees connect with medical\nprofessionals, mental health professionals or on-site gyms. The study recommends\nthat the management practices of work-life balance is require to promote by\norganizations’’ policies. However, it is imperative to guarantee that management\nupholds and applies policies in a manner that supports employees for the management\npractices. The non-governmental organizations should provide work-life balance\nprograms for staff to carry out their duties effectively. Work-life balance programs\nshould be including the caring for parents and children, healthy, and welfare of\nemployees.
