Descriptive method is used based on both primary and\nsecondary data. The study found two things: the first is that township administrators have\ndifficulties and issues, and the second is that the township administration law is essential\nand it should be promulgated. The township level administration is very important for\nregional development and public administration because it supports upper level to make\neffective and efficient public policies in line with the public needs and wants. The\ntownship administrators apply only the existing laws, regulations, directives, orders and\ninstructions laid down by the upper levels to accomplish their duties and functions\nrelating with public administration matters. Therefore, it is suggested, the township\nadministration law is essential and should be promulgated.
