The\ndescriptive and quantitative research methods were used to meet the objectives of the\nstudy. 150 employees (about one-third of the organization in Yangon) were selected by\nusing a sample random sampling method and were interviewed by using research\nquestionnaires instruments for primary data. The secondary data was collected from the\nliterature reviews. The data were analyzed by applying path and regression analysis.\nThis study found that all the talent management factors have significant and positive\neffects on employee retention. The findings of mediation effects demonstrated that\norganizational trust does not affect on the relationship between talent management and\nemployee retention. The results of this study are encouraging for policymakers and\nmanagement level of employees providing opportunities for increasing employee\ncompetencies and career development to enhance employee retention of the banking\nindustry in Myanmar. It is recommended that Yoma bank should recognize and reward\ngood talent performance to enhance employee engagement and training and\ndevelopment.
