The method of study is based on quantitative method. This study\nalso applied descriptive research method. 343 shopkeepers (15% of the total) in\nDagon Myothit (South) township are selected by using simple random sampling\nmethod. According to survey data, credit accessibility and shopkeepers get the high\nscore which means they could have high probability of accessing credit. Multiple\nregression, it is found that financial knowledge influences on the credit accessibility.\nFrom the data analysis, majority of the sampled respondents paid their bills on time,\nthey are able to evaluate financial products by different financial institutions, they\nsave and in general they were financially literate, therefore as a result they were able\nto access credit. The study also recommends that before the awarding of credit to\nshopkeepers, the financial institutions should conduct a financial literacy program to\neducate the shopkeepers.
