The purpose of this study\nis to examine the association between demographic and behavioral factors and the\nprevalence of osteoporosis. Secondary data were collected by Troikaa Pharmaceuticals\nCo., Ltd were employed in this study. The descriptive analysis, bivariate analysis and\nlogistic regression models were used in this study. According to the descriptive\nanalysis, 34% of the respondents have occurred osteoporosis. Regarding bivariate\nanalysis, it was found that age, gender, low body weight (≤128 lb), smoking, personal\nhistory of fracture and low level of calcium/vitamin D intake were related with\nosteoporosis. According to the logistic regression analysis, risk factors such as age,\ngender, low body weight (≤128lb), personal fracture and low level of calcium/vitamin\nD intake played significant role in the prevalence of osteoporosis. The results of this\nstudy may be used to facilitate risk-prevention strategies to reduce the prevalence of\nosteoporosis.
