Among them\nthe most abundant butterflies species was recorded from Nymphalidae and the least\nabundant species was observed in family Hesperiidae. Margalef\u0027s index (d) of species\nrichness was the highest in January, 2016 with (7.76) and the lowest in July, 2015 with\n(4.29). Various diversity indices such as Simpson\u0027s index (D) and Shannon-Wiener\u0027s index\n(H\u0027), (N1) and (N2) were highest in January, 2016 and lowest in July, 2015. Evenness was\nhighest in August, 2016 (0.79) and the lowest in February, 2016 (0.49). The calculated\nvalue of indices showed that these were seasonal variation from month to month. The\nspecies richness, Shannon-Wiener\u0027s index, Simpson\u0027s index, N1, N2 and Evenness were\nhighest in site (C) and the lowest in site (B).
