The study indicated that cultivating vegetables as the main\ncrop, family size, farm size, awareness farming, economic constraints, technological\nconstraints, situational/environmental constraints and marketing constraints showed\nsignificant relationship with the adoption of organic farming practices by the farmers.\nMajor constraints expressed by the respondent in adoption of organic farming practices\nof organic farming were lack of availability of cost, lack of training institutions, lack of\nspecialized markets for organic produce.
