Parental \nparenting styles influence a child’s life and development. The results of the study showed \nthat authoritative parenting is almost the best style until now. Uninvolved parenting was the unpleasant parenting style on child socialemotional development. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between four types of parenting styles and their effects on children’s social-emotional development in selected areas of Yangon.
