The results indicated the occurrence of five species of helminth eggs and larvae, namely Ascaris lumbricoides, Strongyloides starcoralis, Taenia sp., Trichuris trichiura and Enterobius vermicularis. The incidence rate of A. lumbricoides was highest (33.7%), followed by S. starcoralis (28.7%), Taenia sp., (20.1%),       T. trichiura (11%) and E. vermicularis (6.5%).
