The descriptive method was used on both primary and secondary data. A total of 80 manufacturing enterprises are chosen by using random sampling method. It is found that MSMEs in Kayah State are confronting common challenges such as financial access, human resource development, research and development in technology and innovation, law and regulation, taxation problems and energy crisis. For the growth and development of MSMEs, many particular institutions, development agencies of SMEs and government have also been participated supporting and assisting. Moreover, MSMEs in Kayah State requires a concerted effort by the government, banks and private sector that can provide training.
