The purpose of this study is to examine the motivational practices of Myawaddy Bank and to analyze the effect of motivational practices on employee performance at Myawaddy Bank in Yangon. Manager, Executive, Supervisor Officer, the study concluded with 255 employees, including senior and junior staff. Using a simple random sampling method and a Descriptive research method, questionnaires were used to collect data. Analyze employee motivation using statistical software SPSS 22.0. This study is based on staff performance practices at Myawaddy Bank in Yangon. According to the survey, this is found that all level of employees is satisfied with extrinsic motivation. According to analysis on intrinsic motivation, managerial level is more satisfied with achievement factor among other motivation factor. But it is found that all employees are fairly satisfied with all intrinsic motivation of Myawaddy Bank. Along with the results of regression analysis, this study shows that although extrinsic motivators are positively effect on employees’ performance; the intrinsic motivators are negatively effect on those performances.
