Local names and other necessary factors of the chosen specimens were gathered by \ninterviewing the fishermen. The external morphology and measurements of the\nspecimens were recorded soon after collection, specimen of fishes were\npreserved in ten percent formalin. A total number of 24 fish species of 17\nfamilies under six orders were recorded from the fishery activities performed in\nchosen study sites.
