The data analysis was done by Descriptive method to present the data in the form of tables and figures to describe some of its characteristics. From this study we can know the work motivation of the teaching staff in Yangon University of Distance Education. Results from this research showed that teaching staff who are different in gender, age levels and occupational levels were not significantly different in their level of work motivation.
