The famous poem, Buddhacarita belongs to a class of “Buddavaṃsa” Literature which deals with the biography of the Buddha. The twelfth chapter of Buddhacarita is “Arāḍa’s Darśana”. In this chapter, we can find the teachings of Arāḍa concerning with Sāṃkhya system and Buddhist Philosophy.
