A descriptive\nresearch design was used for this study. Twelve high schools were selected from Thaton\nTownship. The participants in this study included 60 teachers, 12 physical education specialized\nteachers and 48 non-physical education specialized teachers who teach physical education in\nschools and (300) lower secondary students. As the research instruments, the guideline of National\nAssociation for Sports and Physical Education (NASPE) (2011) and the Secondary Physical\nEducation Curriculum of Myanmar were used. To obtain the reliability of these instruments, a\npilot test was administered. The internal consistency (Cronbach’s Alpha) of the perception of\nteachers on physical education was (.902), perception of the students on physical education\nactivities was (.712), teachers’ implementation on physical education activities was (.943) and\nstudents’ perception on teacher’ implementation of physical activities was (.906). In order to\naddress the research questions, a descriptive statistics, Independent Samples t Test and One-Way\nANOVA were used. According to the scoring direction, perception of the teachers and students on\nimplementation of physical education activities was remarked as “agree”. The teachers’\nimplementation of physical education activities in the selected schools were measured as “often”.\nAccording to the result, students’ perception on teachers’ implementation of physical education\nactivities was grouped as “sometimes” in selected schools.
