This security ofinformation can be achieved by using encryptionand steganographic technique. In this paper, asteganographic scattered LSB technique isproposed by combining these two techniques.This system is based on Pseudo Random NumberGenerator to get cryptographic strength. In thispaper, BMP image file is used to hide theencrypted message and RC4 encryptionalgorithm is used for data encryption. Togenerate the stego-image, BMP image file isdivided into number of blocks. As a consequence,any opponent can’t know easily which data isinserted in which block count. Therefore, we canprotect the privacy of our information.Moreover, our technique intends for dataintegrity and data confidentiality.
