Experiment was performedusing Jigsaw technique and then compared to the traditionalteaching technique to the courses. The average score of thestudents using Jigsaw technique, student centered strategy, isimproved over the traditional teaching technique, teachercentered strategy. It was observed that the cooperative andactive learning technique, Jigsaw is effective in the learningprocess of the theoretical courses, in the development ofcritical thinking skill, communication skills, interpersonalskills and an increases enjoyment of the learning experience.The student interest was significantly improved rather thanthe traditional learners.
