Web Page Summarization is one of the effective ways to alleviate the information overload problem. Web page summary can help users get an idea of browsing time .This paper develops an automatic web page summarization system using text summarization theory found in information retrieval. Web page summarization has become an important application recently due to the increasing amount of information available on the Internet. However, to generate summaries as coherent as human authored summaries are a great challenge.
