Description
Cobalt Doped Nickel ferrites with the general formula Ni1-xCoxFe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.1 and 0.2) were prepared by self-combustion method. The combustion powders were heat-treated at 1000°C for 30 min. Structure of the samples were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). XRD patterns were collected in the diffraction angle range 10° - 70°. The gas sensitive electrical resistances of the as-prepared sample pellets were observed in acetone. It was observed that the gas sensitivity depends on the concentration of Co.
