The evaluation is conducted using Network Simulator (ns2) from Berkeley. As mobility is also an important metric for evaluating ad hoc networks, mobility of nodes is varied to examine the performance of these protocols under realistic scenarios. Mobile ad hoc networks (MANT s) are collections of autonomous mobile nodes with links that are made or broken in an arbitrary way.
