Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math (STEAM) curriculum is based on the idea of teaching the five different fields in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Currently in the Philippine educational settings, such disciplines were taught as separate and discrete subjects, STEAM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications. Providing all students with access to quality education in the STEAM disciplines is important to our nation's competitiveness. In this context, robots are good instructional tool to emphasize STEAM disciples for they are multidisciplinary systems and can illustrate technological principles in electronics, mechanics, computer and communication sciences, creativity and the art.
