According to XRD data, calcination of alumina nanofibers at 200 ᵒC to 900 ᵒC for 3 h gave amorphous nature. The sharp peaks of the phase indicated the relatively 1arge grain sizes and well-defined long range order in corundum as related to Miller indices of (012),(104), (110), (113), (024), (116), (214) and (300) these peaks ere well matched with standard library data of (PDS 89-7717\u003eCorundum Al2O3). The structure of alumina nanofibers was found to be hexagonal according to lattice constant parameters (a-4.7562 A. c=1Ȧ2.7824 Ȧ). By using Debye Scherrer equation, average crystallite size of alumina nanofibers at 1000 ᵒC was found to be 41.7910 nm. For boron doped alumina nanofibers, XRD data of the boron doped a1umim nanofiber showed characteristic peaks related to Miller indices of (021), (111). (131), (132) and (133), these peaks are well matched with standard library data of (PDS 77; 0395\u003eAluminum Borate-Al, BO,). The crystalline nature of boron doped alumina nanofibers were found at 1000ᵒC. By using Debye Scherrer equation, average crystallite sizes of 50%, 10%, 15% of boron doped alumina nanofibers at calcination temperature 1100ᵒC were found to be 77.90, 62.39 and 38.37 nm, respectively. The structure of boron doped alumina nanofibers was observed to be orthorhombic according to lattice constant parameters (a=5.6517 Ȧ, b=4.9254 Ȧ, c=7.7401 Ȧ. FT IR spectra data of the boron doped alumina nanofibers showed the presence of OH. C-O, C-H. Al-O and O-B-O groups. FE SEM and SEM micrographs of alumina and boron doped alumina nanofibers showed fiber like structure. Maximum removal percent of alumina and boron doped alumina nanofibers for Pb, Cd, Zn, Ni and Cu II ion were found to be 60.78%. 66.97%, 71.69%, 78.06% and 81.55%, 63.72%, 70.64%. 80.19%.90, 48% and 92.23%, respectively for 4 h at different contact times in model aqueous solution. Removal of lead, cadmium, copper, zinc and nickel removal in waste water samples from Textile Mill Heavy Industrial. No. (3). Ministry of Industry. Sagaing Region and Yonethalin village, Hinthada Township, Ayayarwady Region were carried out with alumina and boron doped alumina nanofibers.
