It was divided into two periods of Myanmar films in order to discuss the main theme of the research. The first period is under the realm of British monarchic system during 1920 to 1947. The second period is after become independent from British colonialism especially during 1948 to 1970\u0027s. Of the several genres of these films, the two were selected to discuss for their significant artistic representational style. The scenario of the former was based on relationship between Japan and Myanmar named \"A Japanese Girl\" in which the freedom of representation can be seen directly as the patriotic spirit of Myanmar people who against the British monarchy. The latter is a famous propaganda film named \"Bethu Pyainlo Hlapartautnaing\" based on the Literacy Campaign in country side which was awarded the academy prize in which even though the freedom of representation is limited under the policy of the government at that time, the director U Thuka tried to convey his messages reflected the real social situation and real life of Myanmar people in some way through his talented creativity.
