Solar energy in Myanmar is about 51973.8 TWH per year. Overview of PV (photovoltaic) is presented .Monthly temperatures of 10 selected meteorological stations of Central Myanmar are studied. Considerable attention is performed to analyze the commercial PV arrays by utilizing single-diode (circuit-based) model and MATLAB environment. The main goal is to predict the parameters of the nonlinear I-V characteristic with simple and accurate simulation.
