This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of local pharmaceutical industry in Myanmar. The research method is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative approaches, the require data has been collected from the primary and secondary sources which together provided more comprehensive information. It was found that the local Pharmaceutical industries face the challenges of lack of ready accessibility to available pharmaceuticals, high prices for imported raw materials, and poor of laboratory facility for research and development.
