Insurance market liberalization is also essential for the country to develop and\r keep a grip on the budget deficit. Liberalizing the insurance market in Myanmar is\r critically important not just because penetration rate in Myanmar remain the lowest in\r the region. The objectives of the study are to examine the impact of insurance market\r liberalization on Myanmar insurance industry. This study focus on impact of insurance\r market liberalization on Myanmar insurance industry during the local insurers started\r to enter Myanmar insurance industry by considering on macroeconomic variables (in\r terms of insurance penetration and density, underwritten premium and claim ratio)\r during FY 2014-15 to 2018 (April-September). This study is used both primary and\r secondary data collected from different sources with relevant survey methods. It was\r found that the liberalization of insurance market in Myanmar is strongly related to\r the steadily development of insurance industry and sustainable growth of Myanmar\r economy.
