This study focuses on anti- money laundering risk management and practices and study utilized both primary and secondary data. Descriptive and qualitative research methods are used in this study. The total population of the study was 45 collection people from Risk and Compliance Department, Branches and International Banking Department. A sample size of 33 respondents was selected through simple random sampling method and sample represents 73% of population. Secondary data was studied from annual report of CHID Bank, Central Bank of Myanmar directives, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Law and regulations, international guidelines from internet websites. The finding indicates the bank’s AML risk management practices. In addition, control environment and accountability are significantly positively related the operations of the bank. The study suggests that the bank should maintain and strengthen control environment in order to stable day to day operation related with AML risk management.
