Currently, India has emerged as the fastest growing economy in Asia as well as in global. The objective of this study is to understand the effect of trade liberalization on Indian Foreign trade after implementing economic reforms. This study aims to examine the changes in patterns of foreign trade in India under the successive economic reform measures and intends to describe the lessons from India’s experiences. This study used the descriptive method based on secondary data. From the rest, it is obvious that the trade liberalization policies of India played a positive role in influencing economic development. \r \r \r The Government of India has introduced a series of economic reforms to liberalize the Indian economy at the beginning of mid-1991. Currently, India has emerged as the fastest growing economy in Asia as well as in global. The objective of this study is to understand the effect of trade liberalization on Indian Foreign trade after implementing economic reforms. This study aims to examine the changes in patterns of foreign trade in India under the successive economic reform measures and intends to describe the lessons from India’s experiences. This study used the descriptive method based on secondary data.
