The determinants of saving behavior are studied among customers of KBZ Bank, Sagaing Branch (2), located in Ywa Htaung Township, Sagaing. For this study, data were collected using the cluster sampling method and the saving behavior factors are financial literacy; trust in financial institution, parental factor, peer factor and self-control. And the data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. The main finding factor is self-control and this is the most significant influence factor on the customers saving behavior of KBZ Bank. Similarly, motivation from environments encourages saving practices. Peer influence can have a great effect on the customers saving behavior of KBZ Bank due to their close relationships with peers rather than parents. It is observed that saving practices is formed by family and friends. Parents encouraging their children to save since childhood and saving in financial institutions are important factors influencing saving behavior. Having financial literacy can enhance saving practices. Financial Literacy is an important factor that generates the saving behavior. Based on this study, self-control is the most important influencing factors saving money. KBZ Bank should create advertisements that promote the self-control habits. Customers also agree that having a sense of financial literacy can help them manage their financial affairs with appropriate behavior. This study highlights the key factors\ninfluencing the customer saving behavior of KBZ Bank, particularly at the Ywa Htaung branch in Sagaing. The findings reveal that financial literacy, trust in financial institutions, parental influence, peer influence, and self-control all significantly impact saving behavior.
