In order to get primary data, 120 bank users were collected by interviewing with 10 % of total clients of the MEB out of 1163 from MEB in Thanlyin are chosen as sample population approximately 10 percent of total population. The study shows that most of the respondents are females and middle aged people. They are government officers and live in government accommodations. The regression proves that financial literacy and parental influence affect on saving behavior. It is found that financial literacy mostly affect on the saving behaviour of the people in Thanlyin Township.
