Disease incidence on fruits in storehouses was found to range from 19.42% to 57.73%. The longer the duration was in storehouse the higher the disease incidence occured.\r The disease could not be differentiated from an insect damage by almost all the growers. Eight fungicides and 19 insecticides were used and dasages were found to be misused. The mixtures of 2 to 5 fungicides and I or insecticides were applied and suitable fungicides or insecticides.could not be used. During the epidemic outbreak of this disease, 20 to 30 sprayings were administered ina growing season. Use of glove, mask or other protective clothing were not used.
