According to the result of regression analysis, it appears that process \ndesign has the most significant effect on operational performance in the reinsurance \nbusiness, followed by service integration and quality management among four \noperations management practices. To achieve this, the reinsurance business should \nprioritize process design improvements. The reinsurance business should utilize \nsoftware and technology to make processes quicker and more efficient. Furthermore, \nlower-level staff should be empowered through technology and streamlined workflows \nto make faster decisions. The objectives of the study are to identify the operations management practices of reinsurance business in Myanma Insurance and to analyze the effect of operations management practices on operational performance of reinsurance business in Myanma Insurance. The sample size is calculated from total known population by using Yamane formula. A sample of 80 employees are taken from 150 employees of reinsurance department by using simple random sampling method. Survey questionnaires are used to collect data.
