The word Moral dread (Ottappa) is the law of dread from doing bad deeds; bodily bad deeds, etc. The research question is \"Why is moral shame and dread a moral value?\" If you understood and practiced of moral shame and moral dread, it will bring good to the world. Therefore, all people need to practice moral shame and dread every day in order to improve and succeed in their lives. In order to solve the above research problem, two methods namely descriptive method and evaluative method were used.
