Through face-to-face interviews\nwith the local farmers, the study identifies key aspects such as the demographic \ncharacteristics of the respondents, climate conditions, crop management practices, pest \nand disease management, and yield outcomes. Most of the farmers have farming \nexperience between 40 years and 60 years. It shows that the farmers in Mohnyin \nTownship have good knowledge and practice for growing the groundnut crop. Most of \nthe respondents are between 41 years and 50 years. It shows that the middle-aged and \nold-age population are the farmers in Mohnyin Township and people under 40 years do \nnot work in the family business or local area. Most of the farmers about 90% of the \nrespondents use the manual method and 10% of the respondents use the mechanical \nmethod. According to these results, the farmers in Mohnyin Township have a low \nstandard of living and also the infrastructure such as road transportation, \ncommunication – internet and telephone connection in Mohnyin Township is an \nunderdeveloped situation.
