Thailand and India are also among \nMyanmar\u0027s top three trade partners and Laos is the minor trade partner among the \nbordering countries. It is also found that the trade volume between Myanmar and \nbordering countries increase, which means the bilateral trade relations between these \ncountries increase. However, Myanmar\u0027s trade balance with neighboring countries \nbetween 2011 and 2020 fluctuates and the trade balance becomes positive again after \nthe Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. 		This study analyzes the bilateral trade relations between Myanmar and bordering countries during 2011 and 2024. The study uses descriptive analysis to determine the bilateral trade relations with the key trade partners, the trade volume, the balance of trade, and the types of products. Cross-border trade, Myanmar’s external trade, share of border trade in bilateral trade and that of bilateral trade in external trade and trade indices with bordering countries are also analyzed in this study. The findings show that the People's Republic of China (PRC) is Myanmar's leading trade partner among bordering countries. Thailand and India are also among Myanmar's top three trade partners and Laos is the minor trade partner among the bordering countries. It is also found that the trade volume between Myanmar and bordering countries increase, which means the bilateral trade relations between these countries increase. However, Myanmar's trade balance with neighboring countries between 2011 and 2020 fluctuates and the trade balance becomes positive again after the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
