Simple random and stratified sampling techniques were employed for the study. In data analysis, frequency counts and simple percentage were used for the statistical analysis. The study highlights the levels of awareness of different types of information resources, services and facilities provided by the university library. The study revealed that the students were fully aware and seems to use them regularly. Other findings from the study showed that the students utilized the information resources such as text books, journals, magazines and dissertations for learning and research.
